Story of Intelligence and Thought

We are facing a global crisis hallmarked by climate change that has to be quickly mitigated before it goes out of control.  To understand the dilemmas and challenges we face to tackle it the book tries to bring together those that appear unconnected such as bacteria plant and animal intelligence and their respective roles in regulating environmental dynamics; human intelligence and our activities; goals of fitness happiness and pleasure; Gross Domestic Product and eco-services; consumerism and materialism; and ecological footprint and biocapacity. The big question the book tries to address is will the steps taken by us be able to contain the crisis and save nature?
