Mary cant remember when she first knew she wanted to cook but at an early age she begin clipping recipes from books or magazines. Her hope chest had more recipes in it than anything else.. She helped in the kitchen very little as her mother wasnt to happy having anyone in the kitchen in her way When Mary was married she like to experiment with recipes. If her husband liked what she cooked she would keep the recipe but if he didnt care for it she would change it with a mite here or a smidgen there. As her children grew Mary really learned to cook. Making her own recipes testing them on the children. Her Mother made the remark Mary cooks better the I ever cook. Ladies would ask Mary for her recipe and of course she wouldnt give it to them. At the age of 78 she has decided to share her recipes.
