STRATEGIC APPROACH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF A RIVER BASIN

The Achamayo River watershed is located in the district of Ingenio province of Huancayo department of Junín; its main access is on the road that connects Huancayo with the districts of Santa Rosa de Ocopa Quichuay and Ingenio; located 3.5 km. to the northeast of the province of Concepción.This basin is not privileged it has as other basins environmental problems that originate from the unplanned use of natural resources and inadequate service systems erosion loss of biodiversity misuse of water resources deforestation among others; being these the most latent environmental problems in this basin and is becoming increasingly common in the rest of the national territory.
