Strawberry Rose

<p>This children's narrative nonfiction story about Rose was written from the author's memories of one very special childhood summer.</p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(34 34 34 1)>Rose is nine years old-almost ten-when she spends her first summer without her parents at her grandparents' lakeshore cabin. Along with their cherished dog Goose Rose spends time with her cousin and makes a new friend. Every day is full of fun challenges and surprises from apple and berry picking to hiking swimming a huge dust storm and a brush fire. With the support and love of those around her Rose shows responsibility develops courage and has many memorable adventures.</span></p>
