Street hooligan John Fetaccini goes about his idyllic existence with his offbeat live-in girlfriend Cora. He spends his days between shaking down money from bet-welchers for his gangster boss and making sure things are running well in his neighborhood. However hes disillusioned that he cant seem to do a thing about his life heading nowhere fast. When punks working for a rival crime kingpin gun down Johns boss he has little choice but to take command of operations. Nevertheless he immediately finds that change doesnt always do one good and must decide between he and his girlfriends relative safety and fulfilling the wishes of his questionable associates and their questionable practices.
