This paper reports the experiences obtained from the observations and practices performed by PROFESSIONAL X facing a patient who had Guillain Barré Syndrome (GBS). The research includes observation materials for 9 months with the participation of two physiotherapists in the rehabilitation process and a physical education professional regarding the whole process we call post rehabilitation. In this sense strength training proved to be beneficial generating neural adaptations increasing the functionality and coordination of specific muscle groups for certain movements in addition to increases in flexibility balance coordination conditioning decreased fat percentage and increased lean body mass. This case report has as main objective: to describe how the evolutionary process of strength training occurred in addition to other functional social physical and emotional aspects in a patient who presented GBS. Methodologically a qualitative research approach was conducted with the application of an interview.
