Strop

<p>Strop tells the story of a young Afrikaans girl in a house of violence of male dominance over women and girls with no escape from its tentacles. It highlights the plight of those in a society which allows such domestic abuse through its silence and adherence to old-fashioned views of 'a man knows best.'</p><p></p><p>Historical events play out in the far northern reaches of South Africa where sparsely populated areas kept watch over the unsaid misery of stoic females.</p><p></p><p>Strop is based on true events during the 1920's.</p>
