Structural Approaches in Public Health

<p>It is now well-established that health has many social determinants and a myriad of structural factors are known to impact on population well-being. This textbook brings together some well known names in public health including Michael Marmot Paul Farmer and Wiwat Rojanapithayakorn to discuss this emerging area of practice. The book examines the form that structural approaches can take and provides case studies of innovative and influential interventions. Drawing on examples from all over the world it includes sections on the theory and practice of structural inventions and concludes with a section on implementation and evaluation.</p>
