Concrete is widely used material in the industry today. It is a widely known fact that there are several books in the market available on the subject written by renowned academicians. The Author has honestly felt the need of average students like him as he believes that it becomes rather difficult to understand the subject in its entirety objectively within a short span of three to four months in the present semester system. Thus he had tried to do it with special emphasis on topics like concrete mix design quality control in concrete making use of IS code practices. He has also tried his level best to mention which specifications or clauses can be found where and the context therein so that it can be easily understood and assimilated by majority of the average and below average students which was his main objective in bringing out Structural Concrete.
