Structure analysis III

The book titled Structural Analysis Volume III has been prepared in a way that meets the syllabus requirements under 2017 regulations for Structural Analysis I of Anna University Tamil Nadu. Besides it will also serve the students and teachers of all other universities AMIE students GATE and competitive examinations and practicing engineers. The books objective lies in presenting the material in a simple and comprehensive way as the authors have taken due care to answer all the doubts that they themselves had while pursuing Civil Engineering as students. This volume contains Introduction chapter followed by five chapters namely Strain Energy method Slope Deflection method Moment Distribution method (including Naylors method) Direct Flexibility method and Direct Stiffness method. Presented in a simply lucid manner all the chapters have a lot of numerical examples and illustrative sketches to benefit the teachers and students. A larger number of problems are also made available at the end of each chapter to enable the students to test their understanding of the subject.
