Struggle for Survival

This book is about a subject rarely if ever written about: the ordeal of survival in the Dutch East Indies during the Second World War. The book starts with a brief introduction of the arrival of the Dutch to the East Indies historically. The main story however is about one family's survival during the war and their way of persevering afterward in a new country. Authentic photographs provided by the family help to vividly tell their tale.
