The research that is presented has as an integrating objective: To generate a construct from the students'' conceptions about environmental education at the secondary school level. The study is based on the interpretive paradigm with qualitative orientation and ethnomethodology as a method. Five (05) key informants will be selected from a group of students of the Industrial Technical School José Elías Puyana of official character located in Floridablanca in the Department of Santander Colombia. The techniques will be the participant observation with its instrument in field notes and the interview with a script. Categorization will be used in the analytical process. And the criteria of scientificity will be set from the credibility transferability or applicability and informative confirmability in the scope of the proposed objectives. Currently we are in the phase of information gathering and its arrangement in Informative Protocols for the first analysis and theoretical level.
