The book represents an investigation in the fields of Moral Philosophy and Bioethics. The red thread that links the different contributions is constituted by a distance from modern thought and the overestimation that in its arc this has achieved of the consciential component to the detriment of the contributions of the corporeity. Three sides are investigated: the Lines of epistemology in which reference is made in particular to the end of life; the issues of clinical bioethics; and finally the relationship between ethics and contemporary society.
