Studies in the Psychology of Sex Volume 2

The Studies in the Psychology of Sex series aimed to provide a comprehensive and scientific examination of human sexuality challenging societal taboos and misconceptions about the topic. The series is divided into six volumes each focusing on different aspects of sexuality and sexual psychology. Volume 1 covers topics such as sexual inversion or what would now be referred to as homosexuality as well as the concept of sexual selection and its significance in human evolution. Havelock Elliss approach was pioneering for its time as he attempted to approach sexuality with a more open and scientific mindset. His works played a significant role in changing public attitudes toward sexual behavior and paved the way for the modern study of human sexuality.
