To improve biological control of the disease by production of formulated antagonistic fungi and bacteria talc based powder and rice bran were added to the antagonistic fungi Trichoderma viride (No.17) T. harzianum No.19 and F. concolar No.4 while wood flour and talc based powder were added to the antagonistic bacteria ( B. subtilis No. 19 P. fluorescens No. 20 and B. cereus No.24). The antagonistic formulated fungi and bacteria were tested on incidence of cantaloupe root rot disease (Paquito c.v) caused by F. semitectum No.12 and F. solani No. (15) under greenhouse and field conditions.
