Drying is a mass transfer operation consisting of the removal of water or another solvent by evaporation from a solid semi-solid or liquid. This process is often used as a final production step before selling or packaging products. The suitable choice of dryer depends upon the factors such as capacity economy efficiency throughput rate and many external factors. Before selecting a certain type of equipment a proper study of all the parameters is conducted. A relative equation is developed then designing and construction is carried out.
