Studies on Hysteria (Nervous and Mental Disease Monograph)

Reprint of 1936 edition. Studies on Hysteria often title Studies in Hysteria was first published in 1895 by Sigmund Freud and Josef Breuer. It contained a number of Breuer and Freuds case studies of hysterics. It included one of their most famous cases Breuers Anna O. (Bertha Pappenheim) which introduced the technique of psychoanalysis as a form of cure. It is widely regarded as the founding document of psychoanalysis.
