Studies on the Chemical Mutagenesis in Faba bean

India depends mostly on pulses and cereals for food. Drastic climatic changes and urbanization have limited the productivity of pulses and cereals. Faba bean (Vicia faba L.) an important nutritious and hardy pulse crop is an underutilized crop in India. So the current approach was used to induce genetic variability in faba bean using chemical mutagenesis and to increase the yield and its attributing traits.
