Studies on the Stachytarpheta Species Present in Awka Nigeria

Stachytarpheta species is not an indigenous plant in Nigeria and as such is yet unpopular in terms of classification identification and use. As yet there has not been much information on the species because so far not much research work has been put into it. Therefore this study was carried out to explore the anatomical morphological and phytochemical features of the genus with relevance to their taxonomic significance.
