Study to transform the place not to leave it

About The Book

The author is the son of a family farmer his childhood was marked by family work and studies and in his teens he got to know SERTA where it carries out actions at local regional state and national level. SERTA is a non-governmental organisation that develops training processes for sustainable development. This book investigated the results of the Professional Technical Course in Agroecology in the lives of the students their families and their properties. The results of the research demonstrate the involvement and empowerment of students to promote family farming and remain in the countryside. The work is developed in four strategic dimensions. A brief presentation of the object of study showing the historical construction of how Serta developed the course curriculum. A theoretical grounding of the main elements that underpinned the course''s results. An empirical study and discussion of the data analysed with the aim of taking an in-depth look at the results promoted by the course and finally a conclusion identifying the major driving forces that underpinned the results and some bottlenecks that need to be overcome by Serta''s pedagogical team.
