Stuyvesant: A Franconia Story

The Novel Is Set In Colonial America And Follows The Adventures Of A Young Boy Named Cornelius Van Vorst Who Goes By The Nickname Stuyvesant. Stuyvesant Is A Spirited And Adventurous Youth Who Grows Up In New Amsterdam (Present-Day New York City) During The Dutch Colonial Period. As Stuyvesant Comes Of Age He Becomes Involved In Various Historical Events And Encounters A Diverse Cast Of Characters Including Native Americans Dutch Settlers And English Colonists. Along The Way He Learns Valuable Lessons About Friendship Loyalty And The Importance Of Standing Up For What Is Right. The Novel Also Explores The Political And Social Tensions Of The Time Including Conflicts Between The Dutch And English Settlers As Well As The Challenges Of Building A New Society In The Wilderness Of The New World.
