This research used both qualitative and quantitative approaches. To analyze social performance it used SPI questionnaire. To evaluation impact on poverty alleviation it drew a sample of 95 members beneficiaries of loans and it used sustainable livelihoods approach to show the impact. Results have shown that the best social performances of Kimonyi are social responsibility of the institution and adaptation of its products and services to clients’ needs displaying a social score of 72%. The second level of performance is clients’ benefits with score of 68%. Finally the fourth score is targeting the poor which is the last performance with 36%. Furthermore research results have shown that building human capital among Kimonyi SACCO members by providing financial literacy is recognized by 100% of beneficiaries. They receive it during microloan disbursement. Few of members also 48% receive it during annual meetings. Building social capital interns of members increases at the triennial rate of 35% from 2010 to 2012. In virtue of this trend there might be hope that the isolation would vanish from Kimonyi sector inhabitants.
