<p><em>For fans of Terry Pratchett... </em></p><p> </p><p>Bartholomew Whitlock mild misanthropist and warlock extraordinaire has been working in the acquisitions department of The Bearded Syndicate for over a century-and he's exhausted. </p><p>Ready to retire he fakes his own death and retreats to the suburbs with his fluffy demonic familiar. They're convinced nobody would go looking for them there!</p><p> </p><p>But there's one problem-Bartholomew isn't the only magical fugitive in the area. A vampire lives nearby and too much magical activity is bound to attract attention. </p><p>One of them has got to go.
