Subdued Knowledge.

This book explores the concept of subdued knowledge developed by Michel Foucault to analyze how power has marginalized and delegitimized traditional and community knowledge in favor of a dominant epistemology. Through an interdisciplinary approach the authors address how social movements academia and communities seek to recover and re-signify these knowledges.
