Sugarcane Cultivation Technology for Konkan Conditions

Konkan region is bestowed with assured rainfall with annual average of 3500 mm. In spite of such huge rainfall the region faces scarcity of water after monsoon season. Thus efficient use of water plays an important role for agricultural production in this region. Considering the commercial demand of sugar cane in this region its productivity needs to be increased. In view of this the information on different land configurations establishment techniques and sources of nutrients on suru sugarcane under Konkan condition is given in detail in this book which will helpful for farmers students as well as researchers.
