In the year 2051 governments have turned to advanced technology to help relieve citizens of a mental health crisis that is sweeping through the nation like a plague. Artificial intelligence and immersive reality programs are deployed in an experimental facility called The Complex.A young psychologist Madelyn Hopewell finds herself trying to navigate this new environment as an intern. She is greatly admired by the facilitys management yet she struggles to believe in their vision for the program. Ghosts from a haunted past compel her to take action against the system enlisting the help of fellow employees.Over the course of one night Madelyn goes to extraordinary lengths to find answers to the greatest moral questions of her time: What is the value of a life and who should determine when a life ends?
