Summa Theologica| Part I (Prima Pars)

The Summa Theologica is organized into several parts and each part is further divided into questions that address various theological and philosophical topics. Part I of the Summa Theologica is known as the Prima Pars which means the First Part. This section focuses on foundational theological concepts and philosophical arguments. The Prima Pars covers a wide range of topics including: The Existence and Nature of God: Aquinas presents the Five Ways or arguments for the existence of God which are his attempts to show that Gods existence can be inferred from the observation of the natural world. The Divine Attributes: Aquinas explores the divine attributes such as simplicity immutability eternity and omniscience. The Trinity: Aquinas discusses the mystery of the Holy Trinity—the concept that God is three persons in one essence.
