Summer Drift

<p>Have you ever felt like you're supposed to follow a path that someone else mapped out for you? That's been my life-until now. This summer I'm determined to break free from the weight of family expectations even if that means wiping out on a surfboard or climbing a few trees (badly). Crescent Bay was supposed to be my quiet escape but it's turning into something much more. Between bonfires that crackle with possibility and one ridiculously charming surfer with hazel eyes I'm starting to wonder if this is where my real story begins. But with my overachieving brother lurking and my mom constantly reminding me that summer doesn't last forever the pressure's building. Can I find the courage to chase what I want-whether that's writing my own adventures or riding the waves with reckless abandon? This could be my chance to live a little or it might be the biggest mistake of my life. Either way I'm about to find out.</p>
