Summer Sorcery

When a statue unexpectedly comes alive and foists magical abilities on them, Nyree and her younger brother Elias are thrust into a world of sorcery and faeries. The children find their new powers both amazing and terrifying. Nyree can weave spells of wonder and beauty so long as she doesn’t get distracted; Elias gains incredible strength and agility – if only he could stop turning bright blue. They must learn how to handle their new skills, fend off the attentions of competing faery courts, get used to living among a cast of mythological beings, discover more about their enemy, and hopefully avoid getting grounded for staying out after bedtime.
