SUPPORT INFORMAL WORK

According to ILO statistics approximately 1.6 billion workers in the informal economy worldwide have been affected by confinement measures so the idea is not to combat informal activities but to provide decent conditions for people to survive and thus avoid falling into misery. Informal work is very present in developing countries and those who are part of it have low incomes and no social protection.What I propose in the book is that people in the informal economy especially street vendors be given guarantees to develop activities that allow them to earn a living and to participate in the productive process by including them in social security.The idea is not to combat informal activities but to provide decent conditions for people to survive and avoid falling into poverty.
