The Gallbladder is a very unique organ in the human body. Studied and researched extensively it still gives a hard time to many surgeons perhaps the most common organ to be operated in accordance with todays date. As the anatomy of the gall bladder is so variable a precise knowledge of not only normal but also of the variants is very important for safe biliary surgery. This book is about a detailed overview of the gall bladder and biliary system from the perspective of a surgeon. This book is written primarily to help graduates and postgraduates students to know this subject in a better way.Belonging to a small village in Jammu Dr. Varun Dogra is a general and laparoscopic surgeon currently serving in J&K Health Services. He did his graduation from Government Medical College Jammu. Later on he joined Government Medical College Srinagar where he finished his Postgraduation in the prestigious field of surgery. Research and writing had always been his passion and post-graduation gave him new wings in this direction. He has over 25 research papers being published in various reputed national and international journals to date.
