Surveillance of Adverse Drug Reactions in Ooty India

The pattern of ADRs reported in our hospital is comparable with the results from studies conducted in indian hospital set up. Results of many of the evaluated parameters such as Patient characteristics Drug class wise distribution of ADRs Organ system most affected due to ADRs Severity of the ADRs Naranjo’s Probability scale wise distribution of ADRs Treatment of suspected ADRs were similar to other studies. While some aspects such as incidence of ADR in hospitalized patients and ADR during hospital stay were different from other studies.
