A poignant true story of a rural rebel mid-western girl whose dreams of a military or a musical career are lost in life. She finds herself deep into the social ills of physical and alcohol abuse infidelity cancer and subsequent infertility. It takes her on travels to unknown worlds to adopt her daughter from the edges of the Brasilian jungle. A woman of country roots she brings forth wails of laughter as well as many tears as she confronts each new adversity. Facing one hardship after another she realizes the one main stay in her life is the powerful source of a shadow that has mirrored her entire life. Believing she had always had a strong Christian faith she is finally compelled to surrender to the source of the shadow.Jesus Christ. She is later diagnosed with a painful and debilitating disease as well as a work injury that changed her lifestyle and presents many challenges to her daily life. She continues to fight the immoralities and injustices of the courts of law she has encountered. Her dependence now lies solely in her Savior as she answers His call to serve as a volunteer in the field of international missions.
