I Moved Silently Avoiding The Branches And Leaves That Would Alert My Prey. One Doe Raised Her Head And Sniffed The Air. I Waited Patiently. She Soon Turned Back To Feed Unaware Of The Danger Above. I Readied My Bow Slowly Pulling The String Back. I Said A Small Prayer Then I Let The Arrow Fly Piercing Her Heart. The Other Deer Scattered At The Sight. The Doe Collapsed Motionless In A Pool Of Blood. Once I Made Sure The Other Deer Were Gone I Leaped Off Of The Bough I Had Been Perched On. I Cautiously Made My Way Over To The Deer Scanning The Trees For Any Sign Of Movement. I Saw Nothing But I Had A Strange Feeling That Hinted At Something Beyond The Trees…
