Survivor Soul Speaks

<p>Survivor Soul Speaks is a collection of poems by Literary Activist and Author Yasmeen. From the innocent imagination days of childhood to the dark experiences of commercial sexual exploitation; Yasmeen's poetry explores her journey through abuse trauma addiction domestic violence racism homelessness and survival in and escape from the sex trade.</p><p></p><p>Her work is an expression of reclaiming sacred power; a survivor rising as a Goddess thriving despite adversity in a prejudiced patriarchal society.</p><p>Through emotional psychological physical and spiritual healing Yasmeen embarks on a profound journey of restoration.</p><p></p><p>This book is more than poetry-it is a journey of a Black woman's rise to wellness and personal power through healing recovery advocacy activism community and creativity.
