About the Book: This book is about the Katyuri dynasty of Uttarakhand also known as Kartikeyapur Empire which ruled the Himalayas from Nepal to Kabul Afghanistan. The origin of Kartikeyapur/Katyuri Empire its branches sub-branches inscriptions statues and temples are all mentioned in this book. The Katyuri dynasty built a lot of temples in Uttarakhand and it is called the golden period of India. This book is a brief history of the Katyuri dynasty. About the Author: Shivam Pal Suryavanshi comes from Lucknow. He is doing research and study on Indian history and dynasties from Lucknow University and is pursuing a PhD in History. He got the inspiration to study and understand history from his grandfather Shri Harishchandra Bahadur Pal. Being inclined towards history he is trying to shed light on the ancient dynasties whose history was going into darkness. He is trying to use socially by researching and gathering information on subjects related to various castes religions societies and sects of the country. After doing a deep study of history and inscriptions he has written this book which is being presented to everyone.
