This is Book #2 in an on-going series compiling the day-by-day details gleaned from available public information as Susan Boyle pursues her career as a world-renown professional singer and entertainer. Included are highlights from fan reports reviews and media reports; links to performances and interviews available on YouTube; numerous tweets; as well as other information that provides a better understanding of Susan’s evolving career. This book covers the 2nd six months of her incredible journey January 1–June 30 2010. Just a brief synopsis of events during this six months:The first part of January Susan flew to Chicago for an appearance on the Oprah Show; she performed “Who I Was Born To Be” and had an extended conversation with Oprah. Later in the month she contributed a line of song for Simon Cowell’s “Haiti Charity Single”. At the end of the month she sang “I Dreamed A Dream” at Tivoli Hall in Copenhagen. In February she was interviewed by Mark Phillips for CBS’s Morning Show. Mid-month she made a loop through Europe; she taped “I Dreamed A Dream” for TV programs in Spain and France as well as performing the song live at the Sanremo Festival in Italy.The beginning of March Susan flew to Amsterdam for a surprise appearance with Ivo Niehe at Carre Theatre where she sang “I Dreamed A Dream” and “Cry Me A River”. Mid-month she was in Leipzig and performed “I Dreamed A Dream” on Welcome to Carmen Nebel. In Edinburgh she visited with Molly Meldrum for an interview that was broadcast in Australia in April. In London she performed “Wild Horses” for BBC Sports Relief. In Blackburn she purchased a new house. And at the very end of the month she and her entourage were off to Japan. She hosted a wonderful birthday party for the “Sweet 16” — 16 ardent Susa-fans who had travelled from Australia Europe USA and 2 from Japan to attend the concert the following day.In Tokyo on her 49th birthday on April 1 Susan appeared with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra at Nippon Budokan Hall and sang “I Dreamed A Dream” “Who I Was Born To Be” “Amazing Grace” “Wings To Fly” and “I Dreamed A Dream” again as an encore. She was then serenaded by the orchestra and audience to a rousing “Happy Birthday”. At the end of April media reported Susan had been invited to sing at Papal Mass in Glasgow in September. April ended with an announcement by the International Federation of Phonographic Industry (IFPI) that I Dreamed A Dream was the best-selling album in the world. May was spent preparing to record Album #2; in June she made frequent trips to London to record tracks for her new album..
