Suzette's Daddy Issues

<p>Suzette is being raised by a sweet and gentle mother and her husband a convicted felon and lifelong criminal. Not only is Dad a violent man he may also be running from the mob. If only Suzette’s real father would claim her as his own. Then she wouldn’t have to be constantly defending herself. Then she would feel safe happy and loved.<br />The question is—who is her real father exactly? Is he the father of her older brother? And if he is why won’t he claim Suzette as his own? Or is her bio-father the man who stabbed her mother in the back with a knife and left her for dead? That possibility is too terrible to even contemplate.<br />For now our heroine must live with these unanswered questions. She has more immediate concerns on her mind. Like how to stay alive and strong while under the same roof with a dangerous man. And how to keep her own heart pure and loving in the midst of the violence. Before all is said and done Suzette will learn to fight back find her voice blaze her own trail and discover the true meaning of love and family.</p>
