Swamp Cat Follows The Story Of Tommy Blake A Young Boy Living In The Florida Everglades And His Unusual Friendship With A Florida Panther Also Known As A Swamp Cat. The Novel Begins When Tommy Finds An Injured Panther Cub While Exploring The Swamps Near His Home. He Decides To Nurse The Cub Back To Health Forming A Strong Bond With The Animal In The Process. As Tommy Cares For The Panther Whom He Names Loki He Must Navigate The Challenges Of Living In The Wilderness And Protect His New Friend From Various Threats Including Hunters And Predators. Along The Way He Learns Valuable Lessons About Courage Responsibility And The Importance Of Respecting Nature.
