Swarm TV

The nature of non-hierarchy through open source approaches to distributed filmmaking is a significant contribution to knowledge in the area of co-creation within the field of Digital Arts. Although Swarm TV involves practical aspects of filmmaking group dynamics and collaboration the Internet has fundamentally changed the way people can create together and as such it is particularly significant for education and/or situations where a minority community might feel that its voice is not being considered by mainstream media. Swarm TV not only highlights issues of non-hierarchy within group co-creation but it also provides a practical methodology for it.
