Swearing in the English and Uzbek languages

This study is devoted to identify different and similar features of functional-semantic field of swearing and to reveal the national and cultural features of swearing in English and Uzbek languages. The speech patterns on swearing in different speech situations in English and Uzbek languages can be used as a source for solving translation problems. The scientific significance of the results of this monography is that it is a comparative-typological study of the genre of swearing in English and Uzbek can serve the source material for future researches. Practical significance of this handbook can be used to teach typology text linguistics linguocultural and translation studies.
