<p>Paige Carmichael needs a place to stay. </p><p>Unfortunately there's only one person she can ask for help-Nate Hughes. </p><p>The grumpy single dad has plenty of reasons to say no. He's her boss for one. He's also ten years older than her. And the fact that she has her V-Card and he's ... well experienced wouldn't matter if they didn't have chemistry for days. </p><p>According to Nate that's not a problem. <em>Why?</em> Because chemistry isn't love. </p><p>It's manageable. Temporary. You can walk away from it. </p><p>So Nate does the one thing he shouldn't. He offers her a room in his house.</p><p>Before they know it they're sharing late nights and pillow talk and early mornings and pancakes. </p><p><em>And his son?</em> He has Paige wrapped around his little finger. </p><p>Before long they start feeling more like family than friends. </p><p>That leaves Paige wondering if Nate says chemistry isn't love because he believes it ... </p><p>Or because he's terrified it is. </p>
