Synopsis of the 18 UPA Puranas

The Upa-Puranas are similar in style and content to the major Puranas although they are much shorter in length. Most of the Upa-Puranas were composed as commentaries on the original Puranas and were intended to provide additional information on various topics such as the Vedas Dharma-Sastras Dharma-Shastras Ithihasas and Itivruttas.A concise overview of each of the Upa-Puranas is provided in this book to gain an understanding of the material contained within each one.
