Synthesis and biological evaluation of pyrano-pyrazoles

This book contains twenty novel pyrano[23-c]pyrazoles (N 301-320) were synthesized. Synthesis of 6-amino-5-cyano-4-aryl-4H-pyrazolo[23-c]pyrans (N 301-320) were achieved by biginelli reaction have been synthesized by one pot multi-component reaction of hydrazine hydrate ethylacetoacetate malononitrile substituted salicylaldehyde and ammonium chloride in the presence of ethanol as a solvent and various catalyst. The products were characterized by FT-IR 1H NMR 13C NMR and mass spectral analyses. The newly synthesized compounds are subjected to antibacterial anti-tubercular and antifungal screening. Authors expected this book to contribute to this trend and multi component reactions.
