Synthesis and polymorphic evaluation of Eluxadoline

In this book author has reported process for the preparation of Eluxadoline and its available polymorphic forms. The author has studied the patent(s)/application(s) filed on this subject till the date. The discussed literature will be useful to several researchers for development of economically viable polymorph of Eluxadoline. Based on this concept new and improved novel polymorphic forms of Eluxadoline are in current development. An overview of synthesis of Eluxadoline and brief details of their polymorphs enable opportunity for research to further explore the new avenues in the area of polymorphism.
