Synthesis & Biological Evaluation Of 134 Oxadiazole Derivatives

Oxadiazole is a five mamboed heterocyclic aromatic compound having two carbon two nitrogen & one oxygen atom & two bonds having general formula Oxadiazole is consider to be derived from furan by replacement of two methane (CH=) group by two pyridine type nitrogen (-N=) called as furadiazoles. There are four possible isomer of oxadiazole depending on the position of nitrogen atom in the ring namely 12 3-oxadiazole 1 2 4 & 1 3 4 oxadiazole. A large number of 134 oxadiazole derivatives have been found to exhibit various biological activities such as anti –inflammatory anti microbial anticancer anticonvulsant & anti hypertensive etc.
