Synthesis Techniques and Photoluminescence Studies of MgO Nano Powder

The preparation methods of oxides involve complex procedures sophisticated equipment and rigorous experimental conditions. Most of these techniques required high temperatures and long processing time. Certainly there is a great demand for economically viable synthesis techniques. Solution combustion synthesis (SCS) and Green combustion synthesis is emerging as a promising technique for the preparation of nano powders. This process is simple fast and economic does not require high-temperature furnaces and complicated set-ups. It can be used for the preparation of all kinds of oxides and formation of various gases during SCS inhibit particle size growth and favor synthesis of nanosized powders with a high specific surface area.
