Systemic Modeling and Optimization

This course manuscript is an introduction to systems modeling and optimization. It is intended for students in a master''s degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering. Indeed systemic modeling is a paradigm that complements the causal paradigm. In other words how knowledge of the structure of a system is more interesting than detailed knowledge of its initial conditions in order to predict its behavior.
