T S Eliot and the 'Strange Gods': The Problem of Belief

This book makes an attempt at evaluating Eliot’s ‘prose reflections’ keeping his handling of the problem of belief7 in his work as the focus of attention with a view to arriving at a proper understanding of the core concepts in his poetics. Once we are able to do that we would like to reconstruct his poetics. It spreads over seven chapters in all including an Introduction and a conclusion.
