Take me to the sea - منو ببر دریا

<p><strong>Romina Houshmand</strong> (born <strong>July 16 1994</strong>) is an <strong>Iranian poet songwriter and multidisciplinary artist</strong> whose work bridges the worlds of <strong>literature visual art and performance</strong>. Born and raised in Tehran she began writing poetry at a young age developing a voice that merges <strong>Persian lyricism</strong> with a <strong>modern introspective sensibility</strong>.</p><p>She holds a <strong>Bachelor's degree in Architecture</strong> from the <strong>University of Tehran</strong> and a <strong>Master's degree in Design</strong> from the <strong>University of Gothenburg</strong> in Sweden-a journey that profoundly shaped her artistic vision. The tension between structure and emotion place and displacement is central to her creative universe.</p><p>Beyond poetry Romina is deeply involved in <strong>dance and performing arts</strong> where movement and rhythm become extensions of her poetic language. Her multidisciplinary approach reflects a lifelong search for expression beyond words-through <strong>body sound and silence</strong>.</p><p>Her debut book <em>Mano Bebar Darya</em> (<em>Take Me to the Sea</em>) is a collection of lyrical writings born from her <strong>third decade of life</strong> tracing tides of love exile and awakening. With <em>Dar Abad (Somewhere Called Home)</em> she continues this exploration delving deeper into the themes of <strong>memory belonging solitude</strong> and <strong>the fragile beauty of being human</strong>.</p><p>Today Romina lives and creates in <strong>Gothenburg Sweden</strong> where she continues to write perform and shape art that resonates across cultures-<strong>a voice suspended between worlds yet deeply at home in poetry.</strong></p>
